Even components whose geometry makes them difficult to clamp mechanically can be fixed accurately and without distortion using the new Schmalz clamping system.

Clamping with short set-up times, high holding forece and top precision

The vacuum clamping system Matrix Plate consists of three standard modular components: Matrix base plate, vacuum distributor and vacuum generator. The Matrix Plate version to be used is selected on the basis of the complexity of the workpiece's geometry, the processing type and the horizontal forces to be absorbed. For each application, the Matrix Plate ensures that you can fasten flat metal workpieces with a planar underside with minimum set-up times and high precision. The vacuum clamping system can be fixed on the machine table quickly and easily using clamping claws or a zero point clamping system.
