Since the beginning of this year, Schmalz offers aluminium overhead crane systems which have many advantages over conventional crane systems made from steel. The Schmalz engineers have now made use of their knowledge in this area to extend the range of cranes even further. At the trade fair K in Düsseldorf, Schmalz presents fort he first time the new aluminium slewing cranes!

The highlights:

• Addition to the product range: column- and wall-mounted slewing cranes SRA with aluminium jibs


• Low intrinsic weight results in excellent properties with respect to ease of movement and ergonomical handling!

• Available for maximum loads of 65 to 650 kg

The versions:

There are two basic types of slewing cranes:

• wall-mounted cranes


• column-mounted cranes

Both versions are available in variants for use together with either a vacuum tube lifter Jumbo or a chain hoist, block and tackle or cable balancer. The latter can be used, for example, with a vacuum lifting device VacuMaster or for any oth4r chain-hoist application.
