- Sustainability as Guiding Principle
The initiative „Germany - Country of Ideas“ awarded Schmalz for its ecological guided tour as “Exclusive Place 2009”. An independent jury has selected Schmalz out of more than 2.000 applications.
Individuals and groups can register to free guided tours that take about one hour and learn more about environmental protection, renewable energies and energy saving measures.
„Sustainable acting, particularly in an entrepreneurial context, becomes ever more important for the future of our society. On the ecological guided tour people can get information on innovative concepts of environmentally compatible acting. This commitment is exemplarily for Germany “, justified Bernhard Kunsmann, representative of the initiative.
