After cutting, all edges of flat sheets of glass have to be ground smooth. This is done on CNC machine tools with clamping tables equipped with suction blocks of the Innospann series.
Many machine manufacturers and end users make their own suction blocks, but this costs time and money and often results in long set-up times of the format of the glass sheets changes.

Additional requirement:
A special stainless-steel screw is used to secure the Innospann cup mechanically to the base, since the glass industry uses strong blasts of compressed air to release the sheet of glass from the cup.

The advantages of the Innospann cups at a glance:

  • High holding force ensures that the sheets of glass cannot slip laterally during machining.
  • Very small height differences of the vacuum cups, permitting optimum grinding of the edges.
  • The cups are easily changed if they are damaged or become worn.

Benefits:

  • Reduced machine standstill times
  • Low service costs
  • High precision
  • Safe production process
  • Best possible surface quality

Technical data:

  • Dimensions: 80 x 80 x 30 mm
  • Thread of securing screw: M8
  • Length of securing screw: L = 48 mm
  • Article No.: 10.01.15.00148
