Because of high energy costs and increasing environmental awareness, energy efficiency is being talked about today more than ever before. The new Schmalz Radio Control (SRC) is keeping abreast of these developments. It makes it possible to easily switch the Jumbo vacuum tube lifter’s vacuum generator on and off using a membrane keypad integrated into the control unit.
Design
- Control for switching vacuum blowers SB-M, SB-L or SB-V on or off integrated into the control unit (JumboSprint and JumboErgo models)
- Uses radio signals between the vacuum tube lifter and the vacuum generator - with a range of approx. 30 m, also suited for large crane systems
- Radio technology in the SRD frequency band with 869 MHz (SRD = Short Range Device)
- Includes a motor protection switch to protect the blower
- Wireless remote control operated using a sturdy membrane keypad that can be operated while wearing gloves
- The transmitter’s power is generated by a solar cell/induction generator
Additional functions with the SB-V frequency controlled blower
- Frequency can be set from 50 Hz to 100 Hz using the keypad (adjustable in steps of 5 Hz)
- Starts up at the last frequency selected when switched on
- Because no cabling is required, the vacuum tube lifter can be turned continuously
Features at a glance
- Ergonomic, quick operation
- Increased productivity and energy savings
- Short amortisation time due to an attractive price
- Innovative technology brings high reliability
