This coil-lifting unit is used to move coils weighing up to 750 kg in a horizontal position and to place them on a mandrel. The Plexiglas suction plates are divided into four separate chambers to permit optimal placement on the coils. Each chamber can be activated and deactivated independently with the aid of manually operated slide valves and can be monitored with the safety vacuum gauges. An audible warning device in the system generates an alarm if the vacuum fails or if there are excessive leaks.The operating handle has a mounting bracket for the control box of the crane. The electric power is connected via a spiral cable.
