Separation function:

The separation function prevents several workpieces from sticking
to each other when destacking. Applying a compressed-air jet
through the sucked workpiece keeps the under-lying work piece
from being gripped. In this way, only one workpiece is picked up
and held.
The separation function is used for all porous workpieces such as
cardboard boxes, MDF or chipboards.

Handling of aluminum sections with the large-area vacuum gripping system FMC

The large-Area vacuum gripping system FMC is optimum for handle aluminum sections. The number of aluminum sections per layer varies. That is not a problem for the FMC, because the gripper system operates with full or partial occupancy.
