Machine and plant operators

Plant and machinery are more important than ever. Those who specialize in them professionally have very good prospects for the future: Machine and plant operators set up machines or plants. They put technical systems into operation, convert machines and skillfully operate technical equipment. They are indispensable for smooth production processes.

The training

Is everything going well for you? Then you already have good prerequisites for training as a machine and plant operator. Because that's what everyday work is all about: making sure that the machines and systems run safely and reliably. During the two-year training program, you will learn, among other things, how to prepare work processes, check machine functions and monitor the production process. This also includes regularly servicing the machines so that they remain ready for operation. You'll also get to grips with the job, refill oils and lubricants independently and replace wearing parts such as seals, filters or hoses. During your training, you will learn how to track down faults and malfunctions in no time at all - and, of course, how to rectify them professionally.
