Understanding, mastering and responsibly developing complicated technical systems - these are the most important tasks of the Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical Engineering. As true professionals, however, they not only design new vacuum systems, but also research and develop modern technologies.

The study

Responsibility from day one in a high-tech environment? This is what awaits you as a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Schmalz. You will already be working on innovative projects in your first year of study and will be active as a project manager during your studies. During your studies at the Horb campus of the DHBW Stuttgart, you will acquire basic scientific and practical knowledge in the fields of mathematics, mechanics, strength of materials, design and thermodynamics.

Our in-house experts will also train you in topics such as turning and milling, CAD, pneumatics and materials science. As a graduate, you will master the design of new and further development of our products, plan and design machines and systems, or control and monitor production and assembly. Your studies include a stay abroad at one of our subsidiaries.
