Be there when we present our new material HT1-ESD to the public for the first time. Customers face the dual challenge of protecting workpieces from uncontrolled electrostatic discharges and at the same time ensuring minimized marks when handling them – especially in high-temperature environments. The new material is perfect for safe handling of sensitive electronic components such as printed-circuit boards or semiconductors at temperatures of up to 170 °C. The dissipative resistance range guarantees controlled discharge, while the high ozone resistance ensures an extended service life. The material HT1-ESD is suitable for cleanrooms and covers the entire range of suction cups to ensure automated handling of different workpieces.

At productronica, Schmalz will be presenting the electronic vacuum and pressure switches VS-V / VP-W-D – a compact solution for measuring and monitoring vacuum and overpressure in handling and automation systems. The robust cube housing with integrated TFT display visualizes all process data even in demanding environments with dust, dirt and moisture. The IO-Link interface enables transparent parameterization and minimizes downtimes for more efficient processes. Thanks to a sophisticated mounting concept, the switches can be flexibly integrated into panels, on walls or DIN rails. The IP65 degree of protection and brass connector ensure reliable use in industrial environments.

The mini compact terminal SCTMi is a clever solution for the automated handling of airtight and slightly porous materials. The series is available with up to 16 SCPMi ejectors suitable for mounting on blocks and common communication interfaces such as IO-Link, PROFINET, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP. At productronica, Schmalz will be showcasing a new variant with interlocked valves that intelligently divides central vacuum generation into different suction zones. Ejector replacement is quick and uncomplicated, while the integrated power function is already available as standard. With their lightweight and compact design, the mini compact terminal SCTMi models can be mounted flexibly and withstand high accelerations on the axis.
