Vacuum Clamping Technology to Clamp Workpieces

Using vacuum clamping technology, suction is applied to the bottom of the workpieces to hold them securely on the machine table. This allows the workpiece to be processed on five sides without modifying the machinery. Schmalz offers a broad range of clamping equipment for all table types and various manufacturers.

Mechanical clamp VCMC holds narrow workpieces reliably

The mechanical clamping system for CNC machining centers with console tables can also securely hold narrow workpieces such as frame parts. This allows the user to adapt the eccentrically positioned clamping disc to the corresponding workpiece height without tools. The mechanical clamp reaches a clamping force of up to 700 Newtons.

Vacuum blocks VCBL-G-K1 for nesting tables

Nesting is one of the latest trends in the manufacturing industry. Nesting milling is an interesting process, especially for small batch sizes. The vacuum block VCBL-G-K1 from Schmalz was specially developed for use on nesting tables. The low working height of 30 mm means that the VCBL can also be used in 3-axis machining centers with low Z values.
