A+A 2025: Schmalz shows exoskeletons and optimized vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex

The upper body exoskeleton MATE UTA provides targeted ergonomic support for manual activities at chest height and overhead. It effectively relieves the arm muscles when the arms are raised and is ideal for static activities and handling loads in higher storage positions. Whether for painting and varnishing work in higher wall areas or on the ceiling, tree and hedge trimming, unloading and loading powder coating systems or mounting and overhead work in the construction industry - the MATE UTA noticeably reduces the effort required. The lightweight carbon fiber structure supports an ergonomically correct posture and prevents postural deformities. Thanks to individual size adjustment, the exoskeleton offers optimum wearing comfort, while the washable, breathable textile elements enable hygienic reuse. The shoulder-friendly functional principle ensures maximum freedom of movement with targeted support for fatigue-free working.

The forward bend exoskeleton MATE UBA provides targeted relief for the lower back during lifting activities and enables health-friendly, health-protective work. It provides effective support for low-fatigue lifting and depositing of a wide variety of goods such as boxes, cardboard, cobblestones or bags, for stone and paving work and for order picking from deep shelves. The exoskeleton significantly reduces physical strain when loading and unloading machines and placing heavy parts on pallets. The lightweight carbon fiber structure ensures high stability with optimum comfort, while the individual size adjustment ensures a perfect fit at all times. The intuitive on/off function allows you to switch seamlessly between sitting and standing with just one movement, without restricting movement. Washable, breathable textile elements promote hygienic reuse and sustainability. In Düsseldorf, Schmalz will also be showing the vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex in a new design: the tried-and-tested vacuum tube lifter now has some new features that make working even more comfortable. Its handle fits better in the hand - regardless of its size. It is intuitive to use and significantly shortens the training period for new skilled workers. Another new feature is the two operating buttons, which replace the single-button control and regulate the up and down movements in opposite directions. They are intuitive to use, allowing new employees to work productively even faster and control the tube lifter more precisely. With the vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex , loads can be brought to a standstill in a floating position at any height if required, enabling further process steps to be carried out on the workpiece being handled. For example, users can easily attach labels or check the workpieces. The vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex thus counteracts employee fatigue even more than before.
