Requirements for Suppliers
A good working relationship with suppliers is of the utmost importance to Schmalz. At the same time, Schmalz has high standards for quality, delivery reliability, process flows and costs.
As a company certified according to the DIN standards for quality (9001), the environment (14001) and energy (50001), Schmalz expects the following from its partners:
- Ecological aspects are considered and optimized during manufacturing and delivery of products
- As little energy as possible is used for manufacturing and delivery of products
- Suppliers look for the best solution and constantly improve.
As a global company, we’re aware of our responsibility to people and the environment. Our actions in purchasing and logistics are based on our principles; the principles of the United Nations Global Compact regarding human rights, working conditions and the environment; and strict anti-corruption measures. We expect the same from our suppliers.
We evaluate our most important suppliers on a regular basis.
