Cranes and Crane Systems

Schmalz's slewing cranes and crane systems, because of their efficiency, maximize the internal flow of materials and at the same time meet the demands of ever-increasing requirements in the intralogistics area. Different operating ranges, load classes and crane rails made from aluminium or steel permit the use in variegated applications. The cranes in standard version are designed for indoor use.

Crane Systems

Because of the favourable relationship of weight to load-bearing capacity, heavy loads can be handled easily. Even load distribution across all load-bearing runners prevents tilting of the cabin. A large work area and varied options for combinations guarantee the highest degree of flexibility. The modular construction permits attachment of a crane system to an existing steel structure or to a customer-specific upper structure.

Column Slewing Cranes

Schmalz's slewing cranes are very versatile in their use, and can be combined with a chain hoist, rope hoist, rope balancer or chain hoist with lifting device. When installing the crane on a column, the pivoting angle is 270°. The crane can be installed freestanding in the room. Column slewing cranes are available with responsive aluminium crane rails. For workpieces with a load of 650 kg and up, steel crane rails are used.

Wall-Mounted Slewing Cranes

Schmalz's slewing cranes are very versatile in their use and can be combined with a chain hoist, rope hoist, rope balancer or chain hoist with lifting device. The slewing crane is attached to an existing column or wall and has a pivoting angle of 180°. The column slewing cranes are available with responsive aluminium crane rails. For workpieces with a load of 650 kg and up, steel crane rails are used.

Chain Hoists

A final shut-down of the hoist guarantees Schmalz chain hoists' long lifetime. In addition, low voltage at the control element ensures a high degree of safety.
