YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and execute daily on a regional development plan which balances sales across all products and sales channels, and increases mindshare and awareness within the region towards the Schmalz brand for material handling applications.
  • Provide distributor partners and direct target accounts with insight on latest Schmalz products and technologies. Position Schmalz brand as the global leader in material handling technology.
  • Gain critical insight into accounts current and future product needs as they relate to vacuum and communicate those clearly to US Product Management for product development pipeline.
  • Communicate frequently with all levels at distributor partners, inside sales support in Raleigh, product management, and sales management.
  • Visit with customers 4 days a week on average, and complete month-end administrative tasks on time.
  • Attend industry trade shows and customer open houses as needed.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

YOUR PROFILE

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ year's industry experience in the automation industry.
  • Industry expertise in thechnology and sales channels.
  • Strategic thinker and project execution.
  • The ability to travel with daily notice.
  • Must have and maintain valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with both an ERP and CRM system.
  • Familiarity with material handling or the industries we serve.
