We have been living sustainability long before the term became popular. Since the founding of our company in 1910 in Glatten - the headquarters of Schmalz - efficient and resource-conserving management has been one of the company's fundamental principles. Sustainability has a long tradition with us - a tradition that has developed into a success factor in the face of diverse global changes.
Even if we are dealing with different issues today than we were 100 years ago: For us, sustainability is a compass that keeps us on course when it comes to economic, ecological and social issues. Only when economic success, ecological responsibility and social commitment function as a holistic system can we build a stable foundation for the long term. We bundle our sustainability measures in the Schmalz ecoSYSTEM - a visible sign of holistic, sustainable corporate management at Schmalz.
Schmalz Sustainability Report
At Schmalz, the topic of sustainability is made up of three different pillars: Ecology, Economy and Social. Specific goals have been formulated for these. Different measures are used to achieve these goals. Because sustainable is not the one who intentionally makes everything possible, but the one who makes the possible with intention - just like Schmalz.
