Process of a UVV inspection with Schmalz
No special preparation is required on the customer's side. All we need is a contact person for the inspections who is authorized to sign the service report afterward.
- Timely scheduling of the UVV inspection with your designated contact person
- Inspection carried out by a Schmalz service technician
- Our goal is to minimize disruptions to production through direct coordination between the service technician and the on-site operator
- Calculation of the remaining service life for chain hoists and creation of a digital service report including all required acceptance protocols
On-site provision of a suitable lifting platform for the inspection of crane systems is required.
Qualified inspection of cranes, chain hoists and vacuum load handling devices
Our service technicians carry out regular qualified inspections and maintenance in accordance with the accident prevention regulations DGUV 52 and 54 as well as DGUV rule 109-017. The following services are included:
- Periodic investigation of cranes and chain hoists
- Inspection of components and mechanical equipment
- Inspection of the hook block and the electrical equipment
- Adjustment of brakes and slipping clutches and calculation of the remaining service life of chain and wire rope hoists
- Periodic investigation of vacuum load handling devices (vacuum tube lifters and vacuum lifting devices)
- Checking the lifting equipment for leaks
- Inspection of vacuum generators and electrical/pneumatics equipment
- Checking the safety features
- Inspection including maintenance and repairs lasting up to 30 minutes
