Schmalz continues to grow - in the Czech Republic

Fabulous 29: Since mid-October 2022, the Schmalz family is now represented at 29 locations. This is because J. Schmalz GmbH founded a new subsidiary in Hranice na Moravě, on 19 of the Month. With Schmalz s.r.o., the vacuum expert is taking the distribution of its extensive portfolio in the Czech Republic into its own hands.

Dr. Aleš Havránek is responsible for the development and management of the new location. The 47-year-old engineer with a doctorate in engineering has already successfully accompanied the establishment and further development of companies in the Czech Republic and gained experience as a local managing director: He was head of competence center and Vice President at the Czech branch of a German logistics company and until 2018 he was managing 2 Swiss industrial manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic, producing systems and components for industrial automation, sense control and safety. "We are very happy that we could win Dr. Aleš Havránek for this important position. He is very well connected in the fields of intralogistics, logistics and automation and will optimally accompany us on our path of internationalization," says Dr. Kurt Schmalz, Managing Shareholder of J.
