Compared to mechanical gripper systems, pneumatic finger grippers are more adaptable and extremely sensitive when gripping a wide variety of sensitive workpieces. They are easy to control, lighter due to their design and the risk of contamination is reduced by the absence of additional drives and the closed pneumatic circuit.
