Schmalz
Schmalz has been a reliable partner for its customers since 1910. What initially began in Glatten in the south of Germany has since expanded rapidly internationally. As the largest company in the Schmalz Group, the blue Schmalz burger has stood for vacuum technology with a wow effect for decades.
Binar Handling
Binar Handling AB and its subsidiaries have been part of the international Schmalz Group since March 2022. The development and production company, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Trollhättan, Sweden, is a leading manufacturer of cranes, balancers and end effectors and thus perfectly complements the Schmalz product portfolio in the field of handling systems.
GPS - Company for production systems
GPS started in 1999 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation in Stuttgart and has since been successfully involved in numerous national and European research projects in robotics. Since its integration into the Schmalz Group in March 2017, GPS has been particularly active in the field of Industry 4.0 and develops digital solutions for data provision, aggregation and visualization for production and logistics.
