Schmalz lightweight gripper SLG for handling stamped components in the welding process

The customized Lightweight Gripper SLG from Schmalz handles stamped and bent parts quickly and reliably, increasing productivity when loading a metal processor's spot welding system. The SLG lightweight gripper can be individually adapted to the sheet metal parts - without any design or manufacturing effort for the user. Using the STL file of the bent part, the gripper is configured online and manufactured directly in the 3D printer. Monotonous handling is accelerated by using the robot with SLG solution and can be performed without breaks.
