In a difficult economic year that particularly affected the European markets, the Spanish subsidiary stood out with strong results in terms of profit increase, sales growth and efficiency optimization. "This award recognizes outstanding power in a challenging market environment," emphasizes Dr. Kurt Schmalz, Managing Partner. "Especially in times of economic uncertainty, it is crucial to successfully assert oneself through innovation and strategic foresight."
Despite difficult circumstances, the global Schmalz Group achieved slight sales growth in 2024. The USA in particular is the growth driver, while business in Germany and China declined. "We urgently need a turning point in economic policy in Germany if we want to remain internationally competitive as a location," demands Dr. Kurt Schmalz.
Schmalz will continue to focus on new, innovative products and the expansion of its global sales network in 2025, particularly in North America and Southeast Asia. "The event with our international managing directors provides us with valuable impetus for innovation and growth," summarized Managing Director Andreas Beutel. "With technological innovations, sustainable solutions and a strong corporate culture, we will strengthen our competitiveness in the long term."
