The (R)evolution of Bin Picking
This cobot needs a good eye. Every day, 60 employees at Würth's VZ West sales center sort around 3,000 boxes of screws, nuts and other fasteners. Recently, a collaborative robot took over part of the work and significantly improved the ergonomics of the workplace. Schmalz taught the cobot how to see, grasp and sort.
