Vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex for handling cardboard boxes up to 35 kg

The handling of cardboard boxes was very unergonomic and extrem work- and time-intensive, since the work had to be done by hand. A solution for the efficiency increase and working simplification needed to be found. This was achieved with a handling system of Schmalz.

The vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex is perfect for frequent and fast moving of cardboard boxes up to a weight of 35 kg. The tube lifter is equipped with a double suction cup. The cardboard boxes can be sucked sidewise additionally, due to its slewability by 90 degrees. A quick-change adapter is integrated in the handling solution, which enables to change the gripper within seconds and toolless. The handling solution is completed by a column-mounted slewing crane SK from Schmalz.
