Vacuum Tube Lifter JumboFlex Simplifies the Handling of Cardboard Boxes

In the packaging and order picking departments products has been packed and then order picked from roller belts for shipping on pallets. Previously, the cardboard boxes were lifted manually from roller belts onto pallets lying on the floor. To make this hard and physically strenuous work easier for the employees, the company decided to buy a lifting aid from Schmalz.

With the vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex 35, cardboard boxes can be lifted and placed on pallets quickly and efficiently. Working is made much easier thanks to the ergonomic single-handed operation and the low weight of the vacuum lifter. The double suction cup used can easily pick up all types of cardboard boxes, including glued, strapped or open cardboard boxes. In order to provide the appropriate flexibility to handle wider cardboard boxes, the double suction cup is mounted on a longitudinal beam. The SK column-mounted slewing crane is mounted on a mobile base plate, which ensures the flexible use of the crane and the tube lifter.
