The vacuum layer gripping system SPZ is suitable for product layers with a variety of sizes and structures. This makes the layer gripper ideal for use in warehouse logistics and intra-logistics. The dimensions of the layer gripping system were designed especially to meet customer requirements. In order to handle empty cans, the gripper system has to evacuate the empty space. This enables the workpieces to be handled quickly and efficiently. The gripper system is equipped with special flexible foam for optimum adaptation to the workpiece structure, ensuring gentle handling of the products. This means no gripper change is necessary for heterogeneous workpieces, which eliminates the time and money that would otherwise be spent when a new order came in. The custom gripper system was also designed to allow use even when the gripper is only partially covered.
