Vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint Ex for handling barrels in explosion-hazard areas

The coatings are stored in barrels in the explosion-proof area. The barrels reach the picking area via a roller conveyor, where they have to be transferred from the conveyor to pallets. This involved heavy effort and physical strain for two people. The company therefore decided to purchase a vacuum tube lifter from Schmalz.   

The vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint Ex is ideal for the manual handling of barrels in the explosion protection area. The barrels in the hazardous area are lifted from the roller conveyor with the tube lifter JumboSprint and picked onto pallets. The vacuum tube lifter makes it possible to cover the heavy, physical work by one person. The JumboSprint Ex complies with the European explosion protection regulation 94/9/EC (ATEX 100).
