Schmalz: New KLT gripper shows if it fits

For ergonomic and efficient handling, J. Schmalz GmbH has developed the new JumboFlex KLT gripper, which is as functional as it is light and compact. It fits both the vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex and rope balancers and chain hoists. It can also be modified for lifting aids from other manufacturers. Thanks to its simple and safe operation, it shortens handling times and optimizes intralogistics - for automotive manufacturers and their suppliers as well as in all industries that use the practical small load carriers (KLT).

Since small load carriers differ in their internal dimensions depending on the version, Schmalz has designed its KLT gripper to be flexible: With little effort, the gripper can be adapted to the R/RL-KLT and C-KLT crate variants. Once the gripper and the crate are compatible, handling can begin: The user guides the KLT gripper to the standard crate and places it on top. The patented wedge-shaped centering aid ensures a perfect fit. After locking, a colour indicator clearly shows whether the tool is securely closed (green) or open (red). The KLT gripper is available in two versions: for 400 x 300 and 600 x 400 millimeter boxes.
