Cranes and Chain Hoists
- Aluminum crane systems and jib cranes for indoors
- Optimally adjustable to the nominal lift capacity of the vacuum lifters
- Outstanding low-friction operation and low moving mass
As a rule, all systems in the field of handling that provide for a crane as a central element are referred to as crane systems. Different types of cranes can be used: Gantry cranes, column-mounted jib cranes or wall-mounted jib cranes. At Schmalz, gantry cranes are referred to as crane systems. Schmalz offers innovative solutions for all three of these crane types.
Crane systems from Schmalz are as diverse as their areas of application – they support ergonomically and health-friendly, health protective work in a wide range of intralogistics processes and other internal handling operations.
Crane systems from Schmalz are used in a wide range of applications.
Together with our vacuum lifters, they form a strong team that you can rely on for every challenge.
Whether on the assembly line or at the production workstation, during goods receipt or goods issue: Handling heavy loads is part of the daily work and process flow in many industries and areas. Crane systems facilitate handling by simply moving the crane rail, thus making the flow of materials and goods more ergonomically and efficient. By using modern crane systems in connection with Schmalz lifting aids, employees can work in a more health-friendly, health protective, faster and lighter manner. This, in turn, increases employee satisfaction and reduces sick leave in the company.
Different crane systems are used depending on the requirements. They can be installed as ceiling or gantry constructions or mounted on the floor as column-mounted jib cranes. In the case of wall-mounted jib cranes, meanwhile, mounting is carried out using a wall bracket or clasp bracket. The suitable crane system and the right model type are defined by the local conditions and work processes.
Schmalz offers high-quality crane systems for a wide range of requirements. The special advantage of the crane systems lies in their flexibility: The modular design allows the cranes to be integrated precisely into any infrastructure. The modularity also allows for flexible expansion or retrofitting of the existing system as needed. A wide range of accessories enables the crane systems to be optimally adapted to the individual needs of a company and its work processes.
As aluminum designs, Schmalz crane systems also prove to be significantly more power saving than conventional crane systems made of steel: Users move more than 60 percent less weight here and can therefore handle even heavy loads ergonomically, easily and effortlessly.
Schmalz also offers the right crane system for special requirements: For example, jib cranes are available for special applications, such as for work areas with particularly low room heights. Jib cranes with telescopic jibs for working areas that are difficult to access or ATEX jib cranes for potentially explosive areas are also part of the modern range of robust, high-quality cranes.
In many industries and work areas, crane systems come into their own and make it easier to handle heavy loads. The crane systems prove to be particularly ergonomically and efficient in connection with vacuum lifters from Schmalz. These also make it easy to handle particularly unwieldy loads - as well as to process and transport light goods at high cycle frequencies.
