The path of the product - climate-friendly thinking
The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) is the central measure of a product's climate friendliness. It takes into account the entire life cycle - from development and use to recycling or disposal.
Emissions are recorded on the basis of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and reduced through renewable energies, efficient processes and resource-conserving development. This makes the carbon footprint measurably smaller and reveals potential savings.
