Vacuum Filters
Vacuum filters are used in vacuum systems to protect the individual components from contamination. A vacuum system is assembled from various components. Hoses connect the components. A vacuum filter is used whenever the vacuum generator has to be protected from contamination. The vacuum filter extends the service life of the vacuum generator. Filters can be installed decentrally and centrally in a vacuum system. The filtering must be adjusted according to the design of the vacuum generator.
Schmalz Vacuum Filters
Schmalz offers three types of filters that vary according to their specific functions. When selecting a suitable filter, check that the minimum nominal flow of the filter is sufficient for vacuum generation.
Vacuum Filter VF/STF/STF-D
Vacuum filters of the type VF, STF or STF-D are used in very dusty environments. With their fine filtering of 3 to 30 µm, they achieve a degree of separation of almost 100%. Vacuum filters are available with a nominal flow rate of 6 to 360 m³/h.
Vacuum Cup Filter VFT
Cup filters can be used in environments with only light to medium contamination. The cup filters are equipped with a connection thread (1/8" to 3/4"). The fine filter mesh of cup filters is between 80 and 100 µm.
Vacuum cup filters are available with a nominal flow rate of 45 to 770 l/min.
Inline Filter VFI
Inline filters are used for decentralized filtering. They are particularly easy to install directly on the vacuum gripper. Inline filters are available for hose sizes 4/2, 6/4 and 8/6. They are also used for light to medium contamination. The filter fineness is 50 µm.
Inline filters are available with a nominal flow of 42 to 66 l/min.
