Diaphragm pump
The diaphragm pump is an electrical vacuum generator in which a flexible diaphragm is moved up and down by an electric motor. Air or gas is displaced in the process, creating a vacuum. Due to its compact design and low oil and maintenance operation, the diaphragm pump is particularly suitable for decentralized applications.
Typical fields of application are mobile robotics, for example in AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), where they enable energy-efficient handling in intra-logistics. Diaphragm pumps are also used in the handling of glass with mobile lifting devices, in injection molding production and in the packaging industry.
