The job of moving stones that weigh as much as 50 kg used to be done by hand. Their primary request of the company was to facilitate this task, in order to improve work safety and protect the employees’ health they decided to purchase a vacuum tube lifter from Schmalz.
In combination with the SRA aluminum crane system, the vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo 85 provides the ideal solution for lifting stones horizontally from kiln cars and replacing them with new ones. The ergonomic transport of stones weighing up to 50 kg is handled by one person operating the tube lifter. The tube lifter JumboErgo is equipped with a quadruple suction cup that can be easily adjusted for the various types of stones, thereby ensuring work safety. A venting unit also makes it much easier to release the workpiece.
