The Vacuum Tube Lifter JumboErgo with Multiple Suction Cup Facilitates the Handling of Unstable Cardboard Boxes

Umbrella stands weigh between 20 and 65 kg and are purchased from an external supplier. During this process, the umbrella stands, which are packaged in cardboard boxes, must be moved from a storage pallet to the pallet that will be sent to the customer. In the past, this work was usually done by two employees. In particular, the physical strain was the main reason for purchasing a vacuum tube lifter. In combination with a multiple suction cup, the vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo 65 provides a solution for moving the somewhat unstable cardboard boxes. The multiple suction cup system adapts perfectly to the shape of the cardboard boxes, thereby providing optimum safety during handling. Compared to the previous work method, handling the cardboard boxes with the ergonomically designed tube lifter is much easier now. It only requires one person, and the work is not physically demanding. The application is complemented by the SK column-mounted slewing crane, which has a jib that provides a sufficient travel path. It is also impressive that they use the vacuum tube lifter to order pick more than 3,000 metric tons each year.
