Let It Grip Rather Than Having To Grip
Quickly suctioned, safely moved: The suction lifter Gripster max shortens cycle times and makes gripping easier.
With the new suction lifter Gripster max, Schmalz is expanding its portfolio with a handheld device for the safe and ergonomically correct lifting and positioning of various workpieces made of glass, wood, metal, drywall, as well as ceramic and stone tiles. A battery-powered pump provides the necessary vacuum. This allows the suction lifter Gripster max to operate independently of external compressed air or stationary systems.
The key advantage lies in speed. The suction lifter Gripster max sucks components up to four times faster than comparable devices. This not only allows users to reduce cycle times. A single person is sufficient to move even large, bulky components. This increases efficiency and eliminates waiting times.
Focus on ergonomics and safety
Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle, employees can move even unwieldy components. They can also lift workpieces in assemblies without having to reach into joints or use special tools. This protects the material and reduces breakage. As a hand-held power tool, the suction lifter Gripster max brings vacuum technology to where flexibility, speed, and safety matter. It supplements stationary systems such as the vacuum lifting device VacuMaster, which is designed for heavier loads and complete industrial systems.
One button, clear signals, safe processes
The single-button control simplifies operation, speeds up the placement of workpieces, and reduces errors. Visual and audible warning signals provide information on the system status and increase process reliability. On the display, the integrated suction plate detection shows not only the vacuum level but also the theoretical load capacity in kilograms. An easy-to-perform system check identifies potential sources of error, facilitates quick repairs, and reduces downtime.
Basic, Eco, Fast: Vacuum as needed
Three programs adapt the device to the task at hand: In Basic mode, the system operates at a higher vacuum, achieving a holding force of up to 120 kilograms horizontally and 60 kilograms vertically. In Eco mode, the suction lifter Gripster max operates at a relative vacuum of just under half that level, evacuates in under two seconds, and saves energy. Fast mode enables suction simply by pressing against the workpiece. Release is possible by double-clicking the start-stop button.
Flexible thanks to quick-change and battery alliance
The tool-free quick-change system allows suction plates and accessories to be swapped out in just a few simple steps. This makes it easy for users to adapt the suction lifter Gripster max to a wide variety of use cases. The suction lifter operates cordlessly using a battery from the CAS Alliance (Cordless Alliance System). This allows users to utilize existing 18-volt CAS batteries. This saves on investment costs, simplifies energy management, and promotes sustainability. Multiple suction lifters Gripster max can be connected via cables and controlled centrally to comfortably move larger sizes.
With the suction lifter Gripster max, Schmalz underscores its commitment to providing ergonomically designed handling devices for every use case. After all, ergonomics is not just a health consideration but also makes a significant contribution to productivity. In addition to tube lifters, rope balancers, and exoskeletons, Schmalz now achieves this with the latest and smallest addition to its portfolio, the suction lifter Gripster max.
