With the suction lifter Gripster max, Schmalz is introducing a battery-powered solution that redefines the mobile lifting and positioning of workpieces made of glass, wood, metal, drywall, as well as ceramic and stone tiles. Eric Wilhelm, Head of Business Unit Handling Systems and Member of the Management Board at Schmalz in Glatten, explains the strategy behind the suction lifter.

Mobile lifting without cables or compressed air: With the new suction lifter Gripster max, Schmalz is launching the first battery-powered suction lifter on the market. This handheld power tool accelerates suction by a factor of four, displays the theoretical lift capacity in kilograms, increases process reliability through clear warning signals, and makes unwieldy workpieces literally within reach.

At LogiMAT (March 24 to 26, Stuttgart) in Hall 7, Stand C05, Schmalz will be demonstrating how ergonomic handling and smart vacuum technology complement each other in intra-logistics. Users benefit twice over: employees are relieved of physical strain, automated systems work quickly and safely.

The Managing Directors of the subsidiaries met for the 47th time this week at the traditional Schmalz World Management Meeting (WMM) in Glatten. There, they sounded the attack: in 2026, the globally active family company wants to continue to grow. One country received a special motivational injection for this.

Perfect handling of sensitive electronics - with the new suction cup material HT1-ESD from Schmalz. Full stands, clamp matches and plenty of team spirit: Last weekend, the fourth Schmalz Cup took place in the stadium hall at the Panoramabad Freudenstadt. Together with Spvgg Freudenstadt, Schmalz hosted the two-day youth soccer tournament, where junior teams from various age groups put their skills to the test.
