Innospann Steel Plate for Quick Set-Up Times in Woodworking

The Innospann steel plate is designed for upgrading existing CNC machining centers with smooth tables, grid tables or console tables. Productivity can increased by upgrading the clamping system – without having to invest in a whole new CNC machining center.

By using the Innospann steel plate, time-consuming and complex clamping templates no longer have to be created individually for various workpieces. The vacuum blocks are prefastened onto the steel plate through a magnet. The suction openings that aren't required are sealed using small magnets. The workpiece is fastened to the vacuum blocks after the operating vacuum has been activated. This enables holding forces of up to 50% more than with an ordinary clamping system. To clamp workpieces with differing dimensions, only the vacuum blocks and the magnetic sealing plugs for the suction openings that weren't required on the steel plate need to be moved once the vacuum has been deactivated. This means that set-up times can be reduced by up to 80%, while cost savings and increases in productivity can also be achieved.
