So far, loading of a horizontal saw was made by using a mechanical plate tong. In order to optimize the production process and to avoid damaging, they decided upon the acquisition of a Schmalz vacuum lifting device.

The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Multi can move wooden sheets weighing up to 400 kg. The wooden sheets are lifted from a stack and placed on the machining center. It is so easy to operate, one employee alone can move the wooden sheets without difficulty. Ergonomic working at all heights is guaranteed by the swiveling operator handle installed as a standard component. The two suction cups are fully adjustable on the crossbeam, so that the lifting device can be adjusted to handle even large, unwieldy sheets. The powerful vacuum blower makes it possible to handle porous sheets. A reversing valve on the blower allows for quick depositing of the load. An electronic warning device guarantees safe handling, even in the event of a power failure.
