Vacuum Tube Lifter JumboErgo Allows Horizontal and Vertical Handling of Solar Modules

During production, an employee checks the quality of every solar module. Faulty modules are rejected and placed onto a pallet.This is done manually, with a weight of 17 kg each, handling the modules requires a great deal of physical exertion.

The vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo with double suction cup allows for a correspondingly gentle lifting of the solar modules. The JumboErgo has a pneumatic swiveling unit which allows jolt-free swiveling by 90° and is used to lift the solar modules onto the upright delivery pallet. This way, the solar modules are not damaged when they are moved. The solar modules can be moved using an SK column-mounted slewing crane. The column-mounted slewing crane is extremely easy to move and features a special bush bearings at the pivot bearing. In addition, the swivel angle of 270° ensures a large working area.
