Rotary vane pump
The rotary vane pump is an electrical vacuum generator that works with a rotor arranged eccentrically in the pump housing and moving vanes. Rotating the rotor creates chambers of different sizes in which air is trapped, compressed and continuously extracted.
Typical areas of application are the glass industry, for example when removing glass sheets after float glass cutting or for the safe handling of large panes with lifting devices. In injection molding production, rotary vane pumps are used for the reliable removal of plastic parts. They are also used in wood processing, for example when clamping workpieces or gripping sheets.
Other areas of application include pick and place processes in the secondary packaging of food products and the automated loading of sheet metal blanks in metal processing.
