Vacuum clamping system Multi-Clamp Suction-Plate for the manual clamping and processing of a wide range of workpieces

In workshops or on construction sites, workpieces which are to be processed have to be fastened for manual processing using a vacuum. Schmalz has developed the vacuum clamping system Multi-Clamp especially for this purpose.

The vacuum clamping system Multi-Clamp Suction-Plate is designed for use in workshops or construction sites. This clamping system is used for fastening workpieces for manual processing. The clamping system itself can be fastened to nearly any even surface using vacuum suction or can be mechanically attached using screws.

After the workpiece is placed on the suction plate, it is fastened in place by the vacuum, which effectively secures it against slipping during processing without damaging the workpiece. The flexible sealing cable of the suction plate enables the creation of individual clamping areas, making the suction plate an ideal clamping tool for small to medium-sized workpieces.

The cost-effective VC-M-SP version of the suction plate is equipped with an integrated vacuum function. Operation of the suction-plate requires only a connection to an existing compressed air supply. If no compressed air supply is available, the VC-M-SPV version can be used in conjunction with an electrical vacuum pump. For additional flexibility, the Multi-Clamp suction plate can also be combined with the Multi-Base turn/swivel fixture.
