Handling products as an entire product layer
Vacuum layer gripping systems SPZ from Schmalz can handle entire product layers safely, precisely and automatically. They simply adjust to different product sizes and layer structures, and generate a powerful holding force. The layer gripping systems are adapted to the customer’s requirements based on a coordinated modular concept. The layer gripper can even handle workpieces whose surfaces are difficult to pick up with a vacuum.

Palletizing and depalletizing different products
Schmalz’ product range includes special palletizing and depalletizing solutions. The product layers can have not only a wide variety of sizes and weights, but also very different properties: Some are permeable; some can become deformed during handling. Large-area gripping systems or layer gripping systems from Schmalz flexibly adapt to the different products and surfaces. This means pallets can be filled with different products instead of just one type. The individualized, customer-specific dimensioning ensures an optimal design.

Automated palletizing and depalletizing
Universal gripping systems can adapt to changing products. They can grip entire product layers or single products securely and precisely. Vacuum layer griping systems SPZ can grip entire product layers, vacuum area gripping systems are used for single products or smaller product ranges.

Vacuum Lifters and Crane Systems

Large numbers of goods have to be moved during manual order picking and palletizing workflows. Vacuum lifting devices make exhausting tasks like lifting, rotating and moving objects easier. The vacuum tube lifter frees operators from the weight of the workpieces so that they can ergonomically achieve the necessary handling speeds.

Requirements for Vacuum Technology

Both bags and suitcases enter the sorting systems. The baggage lifter or gripper needs to be able to handle workpieces with different properties.
