JYSK was looking for a solution to improve the picking of heavy furniture parcels in the logistics warehouse. The employees were under a lot of strain due to the constant lifting of the bulky and heavy parcels that left the storage facility every day. The company was looking for an ergonomic lifting aid to overcome this challenge.
Schmalzova rešitev
Schmalz's solution, the JumboFlex Picker, is a mobile lifting aid that has been specially developed for use in logistics warehouses. It consists of a tube lifter mounted on an articulated arm jib and attached to an electrical height-adjustable lifting column. The picker can be moved to the heavy furniture crates using the existing forks. The control system and vacuum generator are integrated into the basic module, allowing the picker to be used autonomously and flexibly. The multi-gripper, which acts as a load picker, can safely hold cardboard boxes of different sizes and weights at the touch of a button. The solution was developed to reduce the physical strain on employees when lifting heavy furniture packages and to optimize the picking process.
