In order to provide a safe and ergonomic solution for handling softwood fiberboards during prefabrication, the new needle gripper has been developed. The new needle gripper in combination with the tube lifter JuboErgo ensures fast and safe handling of wood fiber insulation boards. The needle gripper consists of 2 or 4 needle modules, each with counter-rotating needle position, the pneumatic control including safety module and the adapted crosshead system. The maximum load per module is 25kg, but also depends on the material properties of the workpiece. Special sizes and automated system solutions are also possible.
