Our products are designed for maximum energy efficiency right from the start. They consume fewer resources, reduce emissions and remain durable and powerful - for a better environmental balance and a sustainable industry. One example of this is electrical vacuum generation, which performs well and consumes little. Digital solutions such as the Schmalz Connect Suite provide additional support by making energy consumption transparent and optimizing processes - another step towards greater sustainability in the industry.

The subsidiary abroad Schmalz Switzerland was presented with the coveted swiss DINNO Award at the opening ceremony of SINDEX 2025, the leading Swiss trade show for industrial automation in Bern. The innovation prize recognizes the Solution Kit ivOS Sheet Metal, which sets new standards in automated sheet metal processing.
Groundbreaking ceremony: Schmalz begins construction of its new photovoltaic plant
Friday saw the starting signal for the construction of Schmalz's new photovoltaic plant. The about five-hectare photovoltaic park on a hillside site opposite the company premises in Glatten is due to be completed this year - and will supply enough energy for Schmalz to become a "positive energy company" once again.
