VCBL-R and VCBL-N vacuum blocks: a two-in-one solution

The new VCBL-R and VCBL-N vacuum blocks are characterized by height flexibility and short set-up times. Schmalz relies on a clever 2-in-1 function in the design: the innovative clamping equipment can be prepared with a single movement. The nesting insert on the underside fixes the vacuum blocks to nesting and flat tables. It can be removed in seconds using the clip - this means that the suction cup is also rock-solid on all standard 30 and 40 millimeter grid geometries.

This provides applications with a universal solution that can be used to equip both grid and nesting tables. If the processing is more complex, such as when processing the edge of the workpiece or small parts, the new series provides a remedy without affecting the MDF protective plate. The hose connection available as an accessory enables use at any position on the grid table, even if there is no suction point below the suction cup. It also increases the power for particularly demanding applications.

The suction plate fixes components of all kinds - from rough or textured surfaces to solid wood. It can be replaced quickly and without tools when worn. Its membrane protects the workpiece from direct contact with the touch valve, which comes as standard, and at the same time prevents the ingress of dirt. The optional lifting system protects the sealing edge of the suction plate from damage and makes it easier for users to load and unload large workpieces.

The adaptable series with working heights from 25 to 132 millimeters is equally suitable for simple 3-axis and complex 5-axis machining.
