Vacuum Lifting Device VacuMaster Multi Allows Horizontal Loading of a CNC-Woodworking Center

Cutting particle boards and MDF sheets is an important step in the production of furniture, one which used to be done with a normal panel saw. The sawing required three employees, who also had to carry the boards to the saw and then take them away after they had been cut. Apart from the fact that they wanted to make the work easier, the large number of people needed to perform the task and the saw's limited capacity were reasons enough for the company to switch to use a new CNC woodworking center with cut optimization. They also wanted to rationalize the process of transporting the 80kg particle boards and MDF sheets to and from the woodworking center.

The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Multi is ideally suited for transporting the particle boards and MDF sheets, which measure 3,000 mm x 2,100 mm (length by width). In this case, the boards are horizontally transported from a stack to the CNC woodworking center. The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Multi accomplishes this task using a suction cup that measures 1,000 x 675 mm. The combination of a powerful vacuum blower and an electronic warning device provide for absolutely safe handling when using this device.
